Some time in December last year, we had reported that Blizzard was working on a new massively multiplayer online game as a rep from the company had confirmed on the forums that it was a next generation MMOG. Now Rob Pardo from Blizzard has indicated that they are working on one more announced project.
Rob Pardo is the vice president at Blizzard. He spoke to German site OnlineWelten at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational and said, “Yes, there is one more unknown project still in development.” He later added, “We ship the games when they are ready. And while it would be great to go on a piece of paper saying one game this year, one game next year, I would love if that happened. But we are going to make the right decision for the game.”
Blizzard has been working pretty hard in the last few months! Last year, they had officially announced StarCraft II and earlier this week they announced that Diablo III is in development. Well, it would be interesting to see when Blizzard officially announces the next-gen MMO.
