Lost Planet Movie On Its Way! |

Last week, we had reported that a Lost Planet movie would be released in three years. Now Variety’s Cut Scene blog is reporting that Capcom is indeed making a Lost Planet movie along with Warner Bros, who will be distributing the movie. Capcom will be co-financing the Lost Planet film.
And as it was reported earlier, David Hayter will be penning the screenplay of the Lost Planet movie. He was worked in the Watchmen movie that is binge directed by Zack Snyder. Capcom is expected to reveal more details about the movie adaptation of Lost Planet at E3 2008 today.
Capcom is one of the video game companies that has a good track record when it comes to movie adaptation of video games. The Resident Evil movie franchise has spawned three movies and apparently a fourth RE movie could be out soon. Movies based on Onimusha and Street Fighter games are also being made.
