One of the most successful video games to movie franchise is the
Resident Evil series. The three RE movies that have been released so
far have been well accepted by the crowd. Now MTV’s Movies blog is reporting that director Paul W.S. Anderson told them that another Resident Evil movie is still a possibility.
Paul W.S. Anderson said, “I am just starting to
talk to Sony about it. I do not even know if anything will come of it,
but there is a possibility it might happen. I love the ‘Resident Evil’
franchise and we always try to make the best possible movie we can. If
we could find a good ‘Resident Evil 4’ to make, then we would do it.
But I wouldn’t just do it for the sake of it, that’s for sure.”
Resident Evil: Extinction had a great ending but it left place for
more sequels; in the end of the RE 3 movie, they have shown Alice, who
promises to go to Japan, where the HQ of Umbrella Corporation is
located. Extinction was received pretty well by the gamers and it had topped the box office.
