Starting with some really big news; the next "Mortal Kombat" game will feature characters from the DC universe, yes DC as in Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, and so on. Although nothing is confirmed, the idea of a DC + MK game sure sounds interesting. More details can be found on the "Mortal Kombat" Web site. We say it will be a treat for comic book fans!
On the subject of superheroes, there's one more in the making: the game "Ironman" may be a few months away but you can try your hands on the demo starting today. There's a lot of buzz around the game which looks like the first cool-looking superhero game on Gen-Next gaming consoles. Meanwhile, "Ironman" the movie is expected to release sometime in May. If the videos are any indicator, we're in for a visual treat. In any case we'll know once the full game is out.
"Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway", the third iteration of Gearbox Software's popular WWII series will be released in August this year. A very popular game, it uses the Unreal 3 Engine, and follows the 101st airborne division through a series of events that take place in Operation Garden Market.
