If you like watching action films and are a big fan of Angelina Jolie,
then you would have surely watched the Wanted movie that was released
last month. These days most of the Hollywood blockbusters have
videogames based on them. Now Universal Pictures Digital Platforms Group is making a game on the Wanted movie.
Martin Tremblay is the president of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. He says,
“Wanted is a striking property with gripping action, which presents
strong gaming possibilities. Publishing the Wanted game is an brilliant
opportunity for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to team with
Universal on a global property with terrific cross-platform potential.
Players will get to dip themselves in the Wanted universe with a
stunning visual experience and engaging gameplay.”
Bill Kispert, VP & GM, Interactive, Universal Pictures Digital Platforms Group quoted,
“From the time we read the script and saw the film’s pre-visual
material, it was clear that Wanted was a powerful property – one that
was well balanced to deliver an engaging gaming experience. We look
ahead to working closely with the film’s creative team to extend
Wanted’s mythology and to expand the story behind the Fraternity of
Assassins.”
The Wanted video game is under development from last year and is
being developed by GRIN, who have earlier worked on forthcoming Bionic
Commando title was well as the Tom Clancy: Ghost Recon Advanced
Warfighter series. The action game is expected to be out later this
year on the PC and consoles.
